Moxi
Targets
Sun damage, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, poor skin texture, dull skin, prejuvenation, collagen building, melasma.
Overview
The MOXI Laser is the latest in non-ablative laser technology, created to offer a gentle skin rejuvenation experience without wounding the skin. Unlike traditional lasers that can require up to 3 weeks of downtime, our patients love the way the MOXI uses gentle microscopic laser energy to help refresh the skin’s surface. The 1927nm wavelength laser helps promote new cell growth, improves skin tone and texture, and reduces unwanted pigment all without major downtime.
Importantly, MOXI is an option for ALL skin types. Unlike many ablative lasers that are only used for certain skin types and tones, the MOXI laser works for all patients and can be combined with other laser and light treatments for patients that have more advanced signs of aging.
MOXI Laser is also the perfect introductory laser because, as a non-ablative laser, there is no wounding of the skin. It’s perfect for younger patients that want to prevent further age-related skin damage and enjoy smooth, firm skin well into their later years.
Known as a “lunchtime procedure,” the MOXI treatment is quick, with as little as 30 minutes to complete and with minimal downtime.
Treatment Plan
MOXI Laser for corrective results are typically performed in a series of 3-4 treatment, spaced 4-6 weeks apart to see improvements in skin tone. Maintenance treatments are typically done every 3-6 months. Improved skin clarity and radiance are typically seen after 1 week.
What To Expect
On the day of treatment, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area for approximately 30 minutes. The treatment itself is quick, typically taking no more than 10 minutes. Immediate aftercare includes Vitamin C, a hydrating mask, and sunscreen.
